the news ~ the band ~ the sound ~ the web ~ the stuff ~ the feel

1/15/2001 Horror of horrors!  would is trying out a keyboard player.  We decided we needed a little something extra to fill in the empty spaces in our mix.  What are your thoughts?  E-mail us here.
1/1/2001 Well, the web is still up, and so is the would.  We are in the process of setting up some local shows with a couple Denver bands and setting up a few shows on the Eastern Slope as well.
11/1/2000 WOULD rocked with Sole Aggression and Resin 8 at the Annual Halloween Bash in our very own beloved Jones Heartz West Slope Drywall Supply warehouse.   May the beer never end!
8/29/2000 would played at the first annual Rock the Block Party and totally sucked!  (Yeah right!)  We can't wait for the next show, where we should have our demo ready for sale.
7/30/2000 Boy, talk about delays!  would has decided to finish a 3-song demo before completing the full-length CD.  The Demo is Finished, with the following line-up: 1: Touch Her Again, 2: Bleeding Lies, 3:Coitus Maximus.  They are already being played regularly on KMSA, the Metal Authority in Grand Junction.  would now must design a cover and print and burn these fuckers.  Until then, listen to the mp3s and read the lyrics  here.  Then send us feedback here.
4/24/2000 Well, the third preliminary master of "Fuck It" is finished, and it kicks the proverbial ass!  We still have tracks to lay down on "Coitus Maximus," "Bleeding Lies," and "Touch Her Again" before mastering them and burning the demo.  "Scream" has been eliminated and replaced with a new song -- "Self."  "Can O' Country Whoopass" has been renamed "A Provate Lesson in Respect."  With a little luck, we should be finished with the 3-song demo within a month.  The final CD will take another three or four.
3/18/2000 would played at the grand opening of Apex Tattoo and kicked ass (of course!).
11/10/1999 would is set to begin recording the new cd. The first tracks to be recorded will probably be "Coitus Maximus," "Bleeding Lies" (possibly the title track), and "Premonition No.6 (The New Fall of Man)." Other songs to be recorded and included on the album are "Real," "Touch Her Again," "Fuck It," "Scream," "Can O' Country Whoopass," "How Many Tears," and one or two others yet to be finished.
10/31/1999 The would halloween party was a success, even without free beer.
